With the slopes of Breckenridge Ski Resort in plain view. Two of the venue locations are high up in the mountain and two are lower altitude looking up at the mountain.  I can never decide what view I like better!

There are so many places in Breckenridge to eat fantastic food! After all the outdoor activity you're always craving some yummy delicious food and beverages to wind down after the big day.  This is no exception for your adventurous wedding day on the mountain. I just picked out a few great ones that can accommodate slightly larger groupings for rehearsal dinners or wedding receptions.

  • Breckenridge Distillery Love handcrafted mixed drinks, elevated food with a cozy barn feel? Then the Breckenridge Distillery is a perfect spot for your rehearsal dinner or wedding reception. They even have a separate building for gatherings and a fantastic outdoor patio. You can also add this one to activities list with a Distillery tour.

  • Blue River Bistro This is the perfect spot on Main Street for an intimate rehearsal dinner or intimate wedding reception. It overlooks the river and has fantastic food! They also offer catering for large events that would not fit in their intimate restaurant location.

  • Sevens With fantastic views of the ten mile range from the deck, it's the perfect location year round. With easy accessibility, this on mountain location is great for a rehearsal dinner or reception. I also wanted to let you know that it can be an intimate ceremony site as well if you want to do everything in one awesome location.

Breckenridge Places to Stay:

Finding a cozy place to snuggle up in the mountains to relax is just what an in-love couple needs. If you have a large family and need your own space I recommend going with hotels therefore, you can get the quality time together but also some much needed PJ time with your partner.  If you really love all the togetherness I recommend renting a house that y'all can crash out and hang out in together the whole weekend. If you want something in between the two, I’d recommend a hostile or bed and breakfast, it could be the perfect match.

  • The Residence Inn By Marriott You're looking for a brand name that you know, the Marriott might be the perfect spot for you and your  guests. They also have a really awesome pool and a hot tub with a view of the ski slopes.

  • One Ski Hill Place This is a perfect ski-in ski-out location for your ski bums of the group. It sits on the base of Peak 8 With easy access to town with the gondola. Giving your guests a true Colorado experience.

  • The Bivvi This modern hostel is perfect for you're laid back guess who loves beer and yummy breakfasts. Or for those guys that have way too much gear they can't keep in their car over the weekend while they're at the wedding.

  • Bella Villa di Montagna Villa This is just one of the many Villas that you can rent in Breckenridge in order to get all that quality time with your family that you love. They usually all have pretty awesome hot tubs too!!

Breckenridge Activities:

The very best thing about being in a cute little mountain town is that you have full access to everything outdoors. And when I say full access I mean most of it is steps away from your door, no car needed to get outside. The main problem is going to be wanting more days in the mountains to do all the fun activities you want to fit in.  I challenge you to see how many of these can you fit in over one weekend????

  • Hiking - The biggest question is going to be... do you want to seek out a waterfall or a high Alpine lake or the top of the mountain... take your pick, they're all right here!

  • Biking - From downhill mountain biking to paved path cycling Breckenridge has it all!

  • Skiing & Boarding - From the town you can jump on the Gondola to get to Breckenridge Ski Resort to ski or board until your legs fall off.  At the end of the day you can even ski all the way back down to town, no Gondola needed.

  • Fly Fishing - With the Blue River running right through town, you'll find it hard not to be inspired to get that rainbow trout you've always wanted.

  • Dog Sledding - Are you a huge fan of mountain dogs? Will you get your fill when you go dog sledding with them! If you're here in the summer, stop by to get a tour of the dogs in training.

  • Yoga - Need some more relaxation while you're in town? Yoga will be the perfect activity with a few studios to choose from, get your Zen on.

  • Golfing - Breckenridge offers a great golf course in the summertime.  They're also multiple courses in nearby towns for you to try out as well!

  • Rock Climbing - With a few bouldering problems in town you can try out rock climbing.  For the hardcore climbers there is tons of climbing within an hour or less to keep you busy all day.

  • Snowshoeing - Every trail looks magical in the snow and with great views all day you want to do all the trails known to man in Breckenridge.

  • Shopping - From specialty beef jerky to boutiques and sports clothing… Breckenridge will keep you browsing all day. You’ll find that special Breckenridge purchase to keep forever or to eat after hiking.

  • Breweries & Distilleries - Love having great conversations all day long while exploring your pallet of hops   and delicious aromas. Walk and jump on the free bus to catch them all!

Breckenridge Festivals:

While festivals are a fantastic town celebration, sometimes they can make wedding planning a bit difficult because of lodging, parking and day of transportation. It's always best to know what festivals or celebrations are happening in the town that you choose to have your wedding so you can plan accordingly. Part of the planning accordingly may be that your guests partake in the festivals! I mean how cool would it be to have your wedding day and then go to Oktoberfest with all your guess the next day!

  • Breckenridge Oktoberfest This is a great festival for all you beer drinkers out there who enjoy cheering, “Prost!”

  • International Snow Sculpture Festival Do you love art?  You will love the sculptures these artists come up with made out of ice and snow. It's truly spectacular at night all light up!

  • Breck Epic This 6 day mountain biking event is not for the faint of heart but awesome to witness all the super athletes!
