How To Elope in a Pandemic

This year has been one we will never forget. The Coronavirus has certainly messed up a lot of wedding day planning. Or maybe even quarantine inspired y'all to go ahead and make it official. Or maybe you guys wanted to elope because you wanted to do it your way, in the mountains! Whatever reason you guys have decided to look into eloping I'm here to make it as easy as possible. Wedding days can seem overwhelming but I promise with a good guide, like me, you have nothing to worry about!

What does it mean to elope?

Let’s start by looking at what eloping is to ME! It means to get married in a way that you two want to, with no restrictions in what kind of adventure wedding you want to have that day! You can make your wedding day anything you want it to! It's just easier to do anything and everything when it's just you two or a small group! Oh, and me being your third wheel documenting the whole thing! Because you want to do something a little out of the ordinary for your wedding day doesn't mean that you don't want to share it with your family and friends. And there are lots of ways to share your elopement with them! Eloping is getting married in an intimate setting on an adventure, your way!

The Elopement Process

INITIAL CONSULTATION

Hearing your story is the best part of my week! I can’t wait to get to know you guys! We’ll connect online, so I can ask questions to get to know you and your vision for your special day, and answer any questions you have!

RESERVE THE DATE

If we’re feeling like hiking buddies already, we’ll get the ball rolling by reserving your date with an officially signed online contract by both of you and a retainer!

PLANNING!

Once you book we will plan the day together to nail down exact date and time, vow location, exploration and/or activity. Here’s some additional resources for you on the planning process.

It may just be us three but we'll all want a perfect plan to make the most out of the day together! Oh with everything going on we can make a plan in a week, six months or a year! YOUR ELOPEMENT DAY

The planning is done - nothing left to do but celebrate!!

I’ll start the day with photographing y’all getting ready for the adventure ahead. That might be checking the packs if we're hiking in or photographs of getting your makeup done at the lodge. Then we will make the whole day one to remember, cause ya know, there will be vows as we adventure in the great outdoors.

I’ll be there with you for all the giggles and all the happy tears, so you can remember every moment! The day flies by so fast, but I’ll be there to make sure the memories last forever and your story can be shared with your family and friends.

Celebrating after your Elopement

GALLERY of DATE NIGHT

It should feel like you’re reliving that special day together. Your Gallery Date Night together is on your one-month anniversary to make it even more special! I’ll deliver the images at 5 PM for y’all to view that evening together, without any distractions! You can expect to receive approximately 400 images of your special day! I’ll send you a link to a client portal where you’ll have full digital usage rights to download any and all of the images for personal use only, and be able to order prints, frames and albums directly through the gallery.

HEIRLOOMS

Relive your wedding day every day! It so important that you get your photographs off your electronics and in your hands. In the gallery, there is a shop you will find a variety of ways to keep your memories tangible. One of my favorites is always an heirloom album. You can choose to design it yourself or I’d be happy to design the album that best fits into the story of the day. Not only is this a great way for you to have tangible memories of your special day, but these make great gifts for your parents! With a variety of options to choose from, we’ll put together the perfect collection of memories.
